Welcome

Plant Thyme is a small pollinator garden business rooted in Northeast Ohio.

We create living habitat gardens planted in reclaimed orchard crates with native wildflowers and pollinator-favorite herbs, along with simple habitat tools designed to support bees, butterflies, and backyard wildlife.

Because even the smallest garden can help restore the balance of nature.

Our first habitat gardens are growing now

Until then, pull up a chair and explore the journal — honest stories, practical tips, and everything we’ve learned about creating backyard ecosystems that actually work.

What is a Habitat Garden?

A habitat garden is a small backyard ecosystem — where native plants, pollinators, birds, soil life, and water work together naturally.

Rather than relying on chemicals or constant control, habitat gardens support biodiversity through thoughtful plant choices, natural materials, and seasonal care. These gardens provide food, shelter, and water for the many small creatures that keep ecosystems thriving.

At Plant Thyme, we create living habitat gardens designed to help restore that balance in even the smallest spaces. From native plantings and pollinator habitats to mineral basins and botanical garden blends, each piece is thoughtfully created to support bees, butterflies, beneficial insects, birds, and wildlife.

When gardens work with nature instead of against it, life returns.

Simple steps. Growing impact.

Build your Pollinator Garden, One Step at a Time

Whether you’re starting from scratch or adding to an established garden, living gardens grow best when supported thoughtfully. Begin with seeds and sprinkles, add accessible water, and maintain habitats gently through the seasons.

Our Habitat Garden Impact

Across Northeast Ohio — and perhaps even beyond — small gardens are quietly becoming places where pollinators and wildlife can thrive again.

Every Plant Thyme habitat garden adds another safe place for bees, butterflies, birds, and beneficial insects to rest, feed, and return year after year.

Together, these small spaces are helping restore the balance of nature.

For that, I am deeply grateful
Nicki

Bought several items from this seller. I was so impressed with how carefully they were wrapped in little kits. One item broke in transit and the seller was quick to replace the item. Highly recommend.
